Not a fun game to watch by any means. I guess the result isn't surprising if Conroy has in fact checked in on everyone's camp who has trade protection. No one is probably feeling comfortable that they will be a Flame after next week except Huberdeau and Wolf and a couple of the younger guys.

This team absolutely refuses to build through the draft, so take the choice away from them. Just cram a first overall pick down this organization's throat whether it likes it or not.

Definitely not a good game for a good part of it completely outplayed which is unacceptable when the only thing you have is outworking the other team.
Am I the only one who doesn't get mixing up lines? It might work but for the most part I feel it just makes every player second guess every pass, stand still and question everything...

I don't think we'll be picking first overall anytime soon, there's no way we get lucky enough to win the draft lottery no matter where we finish.

Can’t score, can’t win.
I would be reevaluating the future of all the vets on this team and look to sell heavily prior to the trade deadline.
Wonder about Conny’s mindset especially after looking at their record in the last 15 games.

Loss aversion. People feel we can’t afford to loose anyone who wants to play here. Even if he’s a second pairing D whose next contract will age really badly.

I know the effort wasn't there but do these refs ever look at how outmatched this group is and think to just give them a fighting chance at making a game of it?
Nothing like being kicked by the opposition and officials simultaneously when you're down.
