unsigned RFAs Solovyov and Schwindt are listed, which is usually a good sign contracts are close to done

I’m guessing Pospisil might be earmarked to be a center to start off between Huberdeau and Mantha

Team Johnson is a waiting room for CHL and AHL camps to start.

Tyson Barrie with the number 8 jersey? Does it mean that he is as good as already signed?

I think it just means that he is a veteran and that jersey number was available

Go Flames Go ....Go Flames Go

Excited for this year . I predict we start bad but by Christmas a
Some seriously entertaining hockey is being played .

People will be mad were winning. People will be happy were winning. Craig's doing an incredible job with this team now . I'm ao glad we're not F ing around to find out anymore .

So glad we aren't signing reclaimed junk to fill spots , dangerous experiments with head cases like James Neal's and Troy Browers , Mike Smiths , Evander Kanes , Puke Perry ...guys who
Don't move the needle or
GAF.

Just heard Solovyov has signed, should be announced today or tomorrow, no idea about Schwindt yet.

Interesting because these groups do give you an early indication of potential lines / pairs:

Crisp: Based on Huska's interview seems like Backlund, Coleman, Zary will be a group. Kadri, Sharangovich, Kuzmenko another. Honzek-Schwindt-Coronato could be the AHL top line.

MacNeil: The discussed Huberdeau-Pospsil-Mantha line looks to be a thing, and it looks like Rooney, Duehr, Lomberg, Pelletier appear to be the 4th line competition. But I wonder if we see Huberdeau-Pospisil-Pelletier at some point.

Feel kind of bad for Team Johnson. You’d have to know they expect you to be the first cut.

Conory said they would have the pro roster pretty much from the get go of camp. Looks like they are split up for the first few days and once the cuts are made will be all together.

Group 3 looks like they will be gone fairly soon.

Sad to see Morin on Team Johnson. I think he could use some extended time in training camp.

It isn't necessarily an automatic early cut. They could move guys into another group I'd imagine, if they show well.
