Seattle faces Calgary in Pacific Division play

TOP PERFORMERS: Oliver Bjorkstrand has scored six goals with nine assists for the Kraken. Jaden Schwartz has four goals and five assists over the last 10 games.

Blake Coleman has five goals and four assists for the Flames. Connor Zary has scored three goals with five assists over the past 10 games.

Flames attempt to keep heating up, clash with Kraken

"I think we're in a good place," Calgary forward Blake Coleman said. "One more guy scores in the shootout, one more save, whatever it is, and we're sitting here with two points and everybody's talking about what a great comeback it is.

"You've got to focus on the game itself, not that extra piece of it, but I think the confidence is really growing in this group.

Two very winnable games up next as they go to Seattle tonight and then Nashville after that. Then they have a back to back on the road in Dallas and Colorado on the weekend, followed by games at home against Vegas and Dallas. They may only win one out of those 4 games, so they have to win at least one if not both of the games this week to stay relevant.

Or, perhaps that stretch pushes them into their "sell, sell, sell" window and they look to make a trade, Zadorov going first.

Either way, I'm good with the outcome.

As exciting as it’s been to see the rookies scoring to carry the team on their back, I’d like to see Lindholm, Huberdeau, and Mangiapane string a couple dominant games together to get balance in the lineup and be a legit 4 line steamroller of a roster.

I am wrong for being worried that if the Flames win this game they start to second guess their plan of selling.

FWIW Seravalli mentioned today on the DFO Rundown pod that Conroy & Iginla have swayed Edwards and they're still very much about the retool/selling of UFAs.
