Can't they just use the old white or red pedestal jersey? It took years to get black out of the primary color scheme and it's already back on two jerseys.

If anything comes of this I hope it's that white C on a black jersey without the rest of the pedestal striping.
That was the best part of the Blasty reverse retro, and remains the best part of this jersey.

I mean, i'd rather just have '04 home replicas... I mean just take the design files for the '04 home and stick them on whatever template they're using now and then size it to make it fit properly.
The pedestal era is not one that should be celebrated or remembered fondly.

The good news is this is purely a one-off thing. Blasty was always a candidate to be brought back as an alternate. We'll see this for four games this year and then we'll never see it again.
