This team is just not impressive. There is a profound lack of toughness or compete. They are simply very bad in third periods. There is very little chemistry in any area, except for sometimes on the offensive side of things. It's just a disorganized group that does not play very hard and lacks mental toughness. Really really concerning. Nothing resembling an identity.

Can Markstrom do move saves like he did at the end of the game please? This .800 SV% is just gonna kill the team.
Win is a win, but that goaltending is not sustainable since it sets the team back both on the scoreboard, and mentally. He's gonna lose the net if he doesn't get it together.

Ugly win. On one hand Markstrom was terrible once again. On the other hand he did make the game sealing save at the end of the game. Not a win you feel great about but two points is all that counts and hope that goaltending improves going forward as it's just not good enough. Also Lewis needed to do something more with that open net opportunity.
