Simmonds always seems to be linked to the Flames

Hey there's Brett Leason. I remember him being a CP draft favorite back in the day. Big RW. Overage WHL draft year was a big one for scoring for him IIRC.

After this summer, the Flames are light on their own first round picks (only Backlund, Pelletier, Zary, and Coronato are left), so might as well restock the cupboards.

Simmonds has been hyped up for too long to make it worth your while. If he was league minimum I wouldn’t mind but I really feel this team is lacking speed. He’s just average and in a fast division doesn’t offer us much.
