Indy's Schedule:
12 11/28 PITTSBURGH STEELERS 9:00 PM 13 12/4 TENNESSEE TITANS 1:00 PM 14 12/11 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 PM 15 12/18 SAN DIEGO CHARGERS 1:00 PM 16 12/24 @ Seattle Seahawks 4:15 PM 17 1/1 ARIZONA CARDINALS 1:00 PM
Four loseable games (PIT if Ben is playing, JAX, SD, SEA). IND showed defensive weaknesses vs. CIN. I think they will lose a game, either to JAX or SEA on the road. They also might wrap up the AFC early, and sit starters down the stretch.

Really?
Steelers coach Bill Cowher indicated in his weekly press conference that Ben Roethlisberger would return to the starting lineup for the team's Monday night game in Indianapolis. Roethlisberger has been sidelined since undergoing surgery November 3 to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.

I think they'll go 14-2.
They'll lose to Pittsburgh and in Seattle.

No.
But I think the toughest test on the sched is San Diego.
-I'm not sold on Seattle who has been playing a lot of weak teams, and are a very strange team.
-Pitts is going to be a tough test, but is Rothlesberger the difference between this team losing vs. the Ravens to them winning vs. the Colts?

Yeah, I think the Colts will be 13-0 with the division wrapped when San Diego comes to town. San Diego is likely 8-5 or 9-4 and desparate to win their last three games to get into the playoffs. Not wanting to risk injury and having come off a tough game against the Jags the previous week the Colts aren't able to hold off a very determined Charger team. That road game in Seattle could also be trouble for Indy, especially if the Seahawks have something to play for in that game. I think the Colts end up 14-2. I also think Denver could end up with the same record.

I agree with most of you guys about the Chargers and 'hawks but there is one thing that could kill their chances of pulling off a big upset. Defence. Neither have outstanding secondaries, particularly the Chargers, and the 'hawks are giving up over 100 rush yards per game. Both are about middle of the pack clubs in terms of their d and are giving up 315 total yards per game. Statistically Indy is better defensively and only Seattle is ranked higher offensively than Indy in the entire league. The Chargers and 'hawks need above average performances from their average ranked defenses. I'm not sure BOTH of them can do it. One maybe so I'll say Indy finishes 14-2. Jags with the other win.
Interesting stat: I can't remember the teams or years off the top of my head, but of the last 5 teams to start a season 10-0, only one didn't go on to win the Super Bowl and that loss came at the hands of another 10-0 team.

Well more importantly for the Colts, it finally looks like they could have home field advantage throughout the playoffs, which means no out door games for Manning.

As a die-hard colts fan, I'd take the superbowl over the undefeated season anyday. The Colts defense is still young and only getting better, it's not great by any means, but it's made great strides from last year.
I don't think they'll go undefeated but I think they'll win the SB

I don't, SD has a very suspect secondary that the Colts will rip apart every game, and LT can be stopped, it was evident when they played the Eagles this year.
The Chargers have a good team, but they're not on the same level as the Colts.

I don't think so. Near the end of the season do you really think they will play guys like Harrison, Manning, James etc with a playoff spot already locked up long ago? No chance. They'll lose at least two.

The Colts offense relys a great deal on James. You stop James, you will have a good chance at stopping the Colts.
SD has a bad Pass defense, but they do have one of the best NFL run defenses, and can create a lot of pressure on the QB. Indy has a great O-Line, so this will definately be a good battle.
If SD's front 7 can stop James early, the offense is going to suffer big time.
LT can be stopped, but will he? Is the Colts D for real especially with that show Cinci put on offensively.
I'm not discounting the Colts, I think they have the edge, but I'm saying that SD will be their biggest test.
