Plays of the Year
TSN has their plays of the year out. It was a tough decision but I voted for the guy who made the 50 yard field goal. My second choice would of been the Malik shootout goal. It will be interesting to see what it is. Go vote.

Lots of great plays. That Tiger Woods shot was unreal, particularly to watch it as it happens. Some of the other plays are nice - the Malik goal is my second choice - but when you consider how important that shot was...my vote goes for Woods.

I personally thought the Steve Nash play was the best!
It had little significance, but thats what I voted for.

I voted for the field goal one because there was money on the line, lots of people watching and prior to the day before, the guy hadn't kicked a football in his life. Tiger Woods has done lots of incredible shots and will continue to do so.

I haven't been following golf much, what was the scenario when Tiger pulled that one off?
The Nash play was nice, but not as nice when you realize they tried it about thirteen times before they got it.
When the guy kicked the field goal is that the argos kicker jumping up and down and hugging him while going nuts? Pretty cool if so.
I think of all the hockey ones the Malik goal was the best by far.

Tiger was in the midst of an attempt to win one of the majors. It was simply incredible to watch live. That one got my vote!

Tiger easily got my vote. That was a ridiculous shot especially at a crucial point at a major. That field goal to me wasn't that great. I mean yeah he made a field goal and won a mil but that was on his 4th chance. He missed the previous 3 kicks.
IMO:
Tiger 1
Malik 2
Nash 3

In addition, to me, "Plays of the Year" should involve true athletic feats by the professionals who play the game, in contrast to the end result of a sposored contest. Of course, I know that kicking a 50 year field goal is quite the athletic feat, it's nothing compared to feats accomplished in actual competitive situations to me.

1: Tiger - I own 8 of his golf shirts and they work great for work.
2: Malik - WOW - and from Malik - WOWZERS
3: Field Goal - simply because I love the CFL and because Prefontaine was more excited for the guy than he was
Nash doesnt even make my top 10, simply because he has sold out to MDG. MDG of all places, like seriously WTF, does he really need that much money to support his illegit kid or what. MDG is one of the worst brand names in all of computers - shat, at least go with DELL Canada.

Tiger's shot was unreal! Then I'd have to say the Malik goal. So really nothing different from me.

Malik goal was number 1 on both Sportsnet and TSN. Good choice. Tiger Woods shot was number 2 on TSN. Can't remember on Sportsnet. The 1M field goal was number 4.

Worthy of top 5. I have seen a lot of plays over this past year and it is difficult to pick a top ten.
