Rangers have the best goaltending in the league, and it's at a premium this time of year. The Pens are very talented but inconsistent. Rangers in 7.

Shesterkin is great but lacks NHL playoff experience. Pens know how to win in the playoffs and will win it in 6. One of the league's annual obligatory 1st round upsets.

Team on the rise vs team on the decline. Pens are 3-11 in their last three playoff/qualification serieses, not a strong playoff performer lately. Good chance for this rising Rangers group to get their first playff win.

Tough one, with pens experience versus the Rangers young enthusiasm. Not convinced the pens can keep up, so Rangers in 6.

I really don't know how this series will go. Rangers are an emerging team, but the Penguins are still very good and have done it before. It will be a series decided by goaltending. That's as much of a prediction as I want to make.

Can't go against Crosby in this series. Penguins in 5.

I think Rangers players still have a lot to learn from the playoffs.

Pens have been awful of late in the playoffs. Jarry is hurt I believe? Not that he helped a ton last year.
