*Whiner Alert* Audio Ads

That sidebar smilie ad annoys me. It has caught me off guard a couple of times now, without any problem, but this time it cost me a beer. The forkin thing startled me enough to knock over a full one.


Its not so bad if the music's on or something, but when you're sitting in silence, it's enough to make you jump - especially if you've left the sound way up from listening to music.

Time for another CP fundraiser? I'll donate up to $40 to do away with audio ads.

Really? I've never seen one with audio in it. What's it look like?

It's a bunch of smilies on the side bar ad that yell "say something" and something else when the pointer passes over (on the way to the right scroll bar).

You think? Well, I am using a friend's laptop. A friend that knows even less about computers than me. Maybe I need to take this to the computer help thread. Spyware advice seeked...
