Good morning! It's another early start to the Saturday OOT as there are 2 morning/matinee game to start off.
Just like last Sat. lots of games on national TV prior to the Flames game.

How is it that I had no idea this former Norris Trophy winning defenseman, former long-time Flames captain and current captain of his team was playing his 1,000th game? While at the same time enduring a bombardment of coverage for a perennial grinder playing in his on the same day?

The 5pm is the prime time though..... Not many stay up until 10pm for the late game in the east.

In Philadelphia, the Blackhawks escape turnover after turnover, and only trail 1-0 after1...I am avoiding the yammering of both English language announcing teams, and am understanding only about every 5th word from the ESPN Deportes guys. But, their excitement doesn't seem forced, and I haven't heard ANY references to McAvi or the Oil. I find myself wondering if the PBP guy ever even takes a breath as his excitement in anticipating shots builds! It also took me a minute to recognize when they were saying Jake McCabe's name...it kept coming out, to my ear, as Yake Maccabee.

Another too many men call against the 'Hawks...they are terrible at line changes!...the Flyers do something on their PP that I don't see much, instead of the cross-seam one timer, they try to time the banked wide shot to rebound to the weak side with the cutter trying to, perfectly, strike the puck coming from the back boards, behind the net. Seems tricky to get the timing and the bounce right.
