Default LF old, small, beater hatchback

Looking for a ‘beater’ hatchback, preferably 80/90s. No interest in a VW, but otherwise Omni, Swift, Sprint, Metro, Festiva, March, 323 sort of thing. If you have something sitting around or know of one, cash in hand.

Thanks.

I don't have one to sell, but I really want to know why you want one.

Because they’re trash, dangerous, useless and shouldn’t be used by anyone, and I want to save someone from the terror of driving it.

I sold my little Micra and am really regretting it. But I have other more important uses for that money, so I’m looking for an ultra cheap version.

You gotta find a convertible sprint turbo. May as well go all in on the danger and drive a hilarious car at the same time.

smart guy

I was recently talking with a buddy who has spent 500-1000/month on a vehicle for the last 20 years. I showed him a quick calculation of what he would have if he put that money in market ETF.

Buy a cheap car, get wealthy

Nah man, to the ladies nothing exudes "big dick energy" like a Ford Festiva.

No man. Cheap cars are for bums and those with low self esteem.

Now, stop espousing the virtues of my cheap car quest. They’re ####

I don't have one but my neighbor a couple houses down has two Mazda 323s. I've never actually talked to the guy but he's been fixing one up for about 2 or 3 years. Maybe he is interested in selling?

Bump. New vehicle orders slowly trickling in, hit me up if you’re tossing your beater. But no, your rust bucket automatic junker is not selling for $3k.

The Micra is an incredible car. I regret getting rid of mine (base model 5-spd manual) as well.
