Francouz missed the entire 2020-2021 season due to injury.
His current rating is 79OV and is signed to 4.25 million/2years/1 way.
This is a trade to get out of his contract for the 2022-2023 season so Detriot can bring in their own goalie.
Plus there is a lot of risk involved for the NYI. Francouz has had good numbers but he has just missed an entire season due to injury and he is not young at 31.
Detroit told me they were looking to buy out Francouz anyway. This gives them a slightly lesser cap penalty for this season and gets them out of year two of the deal.

I hope so.
Either way I probably won't be making anymore trades for a while. The remaining players on my roster I'll likely keep going into the season unless I get a really good offer.
