I don’t care if you win or lose. Hit these losers like crazy and make them black and blue. Play with some passion.

Beat the oilers and all of a sudden we are 8
Pts back of them... I refuse to throw in the towel so it would be great if the team decided it wasn’t time to throw the towel in just yet.
Beat them Calgary let’s go.

Got my alternate plans all lined up for after the 1st period when the game isn't worth watching any more!

Gotta beat the Oilers. McDoofus looked really frustrated last game against the Habs so make his night miserable again.

For the hope crowd this game is huge, as Montreal's recent success has made the Oilers the target if the Flames are to get in.
Currently the Oilers are on a 68 point pace.
The Flames need to go 17-2-0 to catch them.
If the Flames win in regulation tonight, it would bring the target down by two points, and the Flames would then need to go 15-3-0 the rest of the way.
If the Flames lose in regulation tonight, it would move the target up a point, and the Flames would then need to go 18-0-0 to finish with 70 points.
Big game!

The one bright ray of hope is, if the Flames somehow make the playoffs this year, they would have had to have gone on one hell of a run!
If that is the case, they would be prime to do some damage in the playoffs...

Even when I'm hoping for the team to bottom out for draft position I would always much prefer a win over the Oilers. It will be interesting to see how the Flames handle McDavid under Darryl.

If the Flames sweep the Oilers they are only 2 back. Oilers pace includes 7-0 vs. the Sens so they are unlikely to keep the same pace.
Not saying it's likely just saying that is the way it's possible

They also play Montreal 5 more times (Edmonton). We need the right games to go the right way, but I believe.
