Default March 31 with five games.

The Wednesday OOT has more games in Mountain and Pacific time zones than eastern time.

So I have to admit, the all Canadian North division has kind of Shaken up how I feel about the other Canadian teams. From most to least hated it used to be Edm, Van, Tor, Wpg, Mtl, Ott. Now I’m sitting at Edm, Wpg, Van, Ott, Tor, Mtl. It’s weird and probably season specific but I find myself cheering for the Leafs more often than not.

Sabres with a 1-0 lead in the first period. They are trying to avoid their 19th straight loss tonight

Make that 2-0 for the Sabres. Lazar with a goal.

Edit: I wonder what the odds are on PHI to win right now?

Easier to sort of like Leafs when there is no Domi, Tucker, Corson, etc.
These Leafs are talented with no Kadris or Marchand types.

I’d agree

They are fun to watch. Such quick transitions. Fast, offensive hockey a lot like what the Flames did 2 years ago.

And the lack of d-bags doesn’t hurt

Also probably the lack of fans and lockdowns preventing parades!

(Problem is that if they do something, their fans will find new ways to be insufferable)

Sabres are looking good today. Elliott is pulled. Lyon stepping in, as Hart is not being dressed.

Flyers are my second team, but kinda feel happy for the sabres too. Been a rough few months
4-1 Sabres

Well, it happened by 6 minutes, and what’s impressive is it was 4 goals in 2 minutes.

What's the fastest hat trick in NHL history? Because Donskoi has it in 7 minutes.

Brayden Point did it in 91 seconds last year, which I thought is the best in the modern era

Bill Mosienko reportedly did it in 21 seconds in 1952 for the Hawks

Edited for research
Derek King is the only faster post expansion hat trick in 1:18 in 1991 for the Isles

Crazy

6 goals combined in 3 minutes and 27 seconds might be a record of some sort.

Edit: Nope.

Fastest is 6 in 3 minutes of game time but over 2 periods

Fastest 6 in one period is 3:15. Leafs/Canadiens in 1944.

2 others quicker at 3:23 and 3:25.

Amazing.

And yeah...that Mosienko record i read when i was a young lad and always remembered it. A record that will likely stand forever.

Up 5 - 1 in the first 7 minutes, Mackinnon and Makar with a a whopping zero points. I think the rest of the league is pretty screwed, guys

This is why I laugh when people worry about the Oilers winning the cup this year

I still have the Doug Smail Proset card of him tying the fastest goal record.
