probably time for a change there. I've always liked Laviolette ... really good coach.

“Was” a good coach. Hasn’t he been awful the last few years between?

Coach or Roster?

The Caps have been on a victory cruise since they won the cup. Goalies all bottomed out, Kuznetsov is a head case, Backstrom is falling apart etc etc.

Hard to blame Laviolette for not being able to get blood from a stone.

Sutter out, Lav in?

Or is a mean coach for mean coach swap too redundant?

That would be far too much money in and out. Not happening.

If Gaudreau was still here, I could have seen him coming to the Flames since they have experience working together with Team USA and seemed to get along well.

Maybe he'll end up in Columbus.

That's the beauty of it, both teams would spend less money (compared to an alternative), but I don't think either coach would be remotely interested

Columbus needs a head coach now.

I’m guessing they’ll wait until after the draft lottery in case they land Bedard.
