As tradition entails, Day One features all of the league's bottom feeders, as a way to gently ease into the season. Day Two, the greats, the titans, take to the ice to rescue the sport from this inadequacies of the previous days flailing ineptitude.

After winning his first game with the Bolts in the final pre-season game, Mrazek gets the nod for the start.
Justin Williams, who has missed a few games during the pre-season also draws in on the fourth line. It is still to be seen how many games he plays this season, or if he even plays through the season, as he has constantly hinted at retirement being an option.
A surprising, though maybe not as surprising, omission is that of Dustin Byfuglien. The team has stated that Byfuglien will eventually draw in. His return to camp unfit is the reason he doesn't dress for game 1, though he is likely to step in for one of these games in week 1.
