I'm certain that the idea of this topic is at least a Fata but I endeavored to look through the posts in this forum and couldn't find anything similar.
I would be more than willing to pay a subscription or make some kind of donation to the site in return for all of the ads being removed. The pop-ups can be solved with blockers and such, I know, but I certainly wouldn't have a problem with such a service. I'm sure the software used for this board also has other features that could be made subscription-based, nothing major though.
I'm not advocating limiting access to those who either have no intention of donating or no ability to, but there could be a large number of people who would be interested in what I'm advocating here (if it makes any sense).
Just thought I'd get this out here for discussion or explanation, and as I said, I apologise as this is almost certainly a topic that has been Fataed more than "HOCKEY IN WINNIPEG!"
