2016 NHL Bracket Challenge - Predicting the Playoffs
All 16 teams will be locked into their final match-ups within the next couple hours.
The brackets are locked just before game time of the first game of the Playoffs on Tuesday.
I'm not sure if we have had this in previous years but in a depressing year of hockey not only for Flames fans, but for Canadian team fans I think it will be more interesting to see who people will predict to move on in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
I made it a private league so that bragging rights for the winner will stay within CP.

I always hate predicting series when the Canucks are in the playoffs, but since they aren't im all in. Also I will be in next year and the year after that and the year after that...

First year in about a decade I have zero interest in watching any of the playoffs.
Pittsburgh/Philadelphia would change that.
I'd also enjoy LA/Chicago or the Penguins in the Finals.

@Ashasx: I have nearly the exact same picks... guess I'm not very original, heh.
Only difference is I have Washington winning the Cup and have Anaheim beating LA (though I am waffling on that... LA could beat Anaheim...).
Over years of doing these challenges, I've developed a theory that "upsets often happen in Round 1 but rarely happen in later rounds". So that's basically the philosophy I'm using. None of the teams in Round 1 this year really look like potential upset candidates to me, though.

Yeah, I think the easiest prediction there is that Detroit is the worst of the 4 teams. But after that, Florida/NYI/Tampa all seem like pretty equal "middle-of-the-road non-contender"-types.
