Mike Smith? How bad is Arizona that a goalie with 7 wins in 24 starts is their best player?

Sucks that Hamilton doesn't make it, but it looks like it would have come down to him vs Fowler as the 3rd D

I think Backlund deserved it this year.

But which forward do you drop to fit him in?

Backlund instead of Gaudreau?
As much as I hate Kesler, he has been better this year.
Pavelski is better, as is Jeff Carter.
The others are the lone picks for their team, so the format means they have to be there

Look at that Pacific roster...the weakest division in hockey.

I disagree with Fowler being on the team ahead of Hamilton.

LOL. Goalie with 7 wins (Smith) bumps out goalie with 20 wins (Talbot).

Really? I don't see anything wrong with the roster at all.

Even with arguably the best player and the best defenseman (or two defensemen??) on the roster?

I disagree. All the rosters look great with the possible exception of the Atlantic, but they have Carey Price.

After the thing with John Scott, I don't know people watch this thing, this is just a money grab. The fans really don't decide the players.

I can't believe how much chatter the ASG drums up given that no one cares about it.

If they're going to go with four small teams and stick to the one player from each team rule the NHL needs to open up each roster to 12 or 13. One more forward and one more D isn't going to hurt anything.

Hopefully he can make some plays in the game and get some confidence back. Looks a bit out of sorts since Christmas.
