So, the Devils don't cough up the reports on time, then are forced to, and then say they are inadmissible because they weren't in on time? It was their own freaken fault!
Who is looking like the greaseball here?

Confusing - did they withhold the info from him in the 90's, or from his legal team now, or both?
Also interesting that legal proceedings are taking place in California, seemingly unrelated to any of the parties or incidents (perhaps injury occured in game in Cali?)

Who was the President at the time? I'm guessing Lamorillo? Wonder if he'll be subpoenaed (or whoever was at the helm).
On a side note, when I was in grade 3, I had a supply teacher (Mike Peluso's cousin) who was our sub while our teacher was on maternity leave. From what I remembered, she was a smoke show.

Insurer: NHL player’s seizures from 'partying, binge drinking'
Quote:
“Contrary to [Peluso’s] assertions, most of [Peluso’s] documented seizures have been brought on by lack of sleep, partying, dehydration, binge drinking, and failure to take medication…” Deutschel wrote. “In fact, defendants have not been provided with any medicals showing recent grand mal seizures as presently alleged.”
Deutschel also alleges that Peluso has not offered any “medical evidence supporting the contention there is brain damage and diagnosis of dementia as presently contended.”

Based on my dealings with Lamoriello, greaseball would be a flattering term for him.

Another cool story - it was rumoured (though never verified) that Mike Peluso was the guy Alannis Morisette was talking about in the theater in the hit song "You Oughta Know".
Sadly, I can't make cryptic hints that I have any connection to any of these people. I think I read it in SPIN magazine.

Pretty sure he was actually the main reference point for Carly Simon's "You're so vain"
