Thumbs down Flames lost 2-0 to the Jets

Pretty disappointing game. Not good enough from the Flames best players.

Ruined a good game from Chad Johnson. Dougie also looked very good.

Too many prime scoring opportunities where the Flames didn't even get a shot, or turned it over unforced leading to a scoring chance against.

Everyone besides Johnson was drunk off their ass.

Terrible effort.

Only Johnson, Hamilton, and Jokipakka showed up tonight. No offense whatsoever.

I really want Brodie away from Wideman...and Wideman away from the ice.

Brodie made at least 6 mistakes in the third period.

Everything was off - no creativity with the puck. Bad giveaways. Sloppy passing. Just a bad game by the flames.

I'd like to point out, however, that because Chiasson lacks talent, both Johnny and Monahan have to be playing well for that line to be playing well. When Monahan is bad, that line is bad. When Johnny is bad, that line is bad. A game like this illustrates why the flames need to trade for RW

Another frustrating and disappointing game. Didn't think the Flames were too bad in the first period and a bit of the 2nd, could've had 1 or 2 goals. Then, we just seem to have lost our hockey IQ. Terrible decisions with the puck. Shot ourselves in the foot again. Plain and simple. I'm confused as to whether this team is a playoff team or not. 1 game we look amazing, next we lay eggs like tonight. Every time we have a chance to really close the gap on the teams ahead of us, or create separation from the teams behind us, we blow it consistently. Enough already.

Starting next game, we gotta start stringing some wins together again. Lets go.

Hathaway in?
Flames usually win!

But this one was greatly disappointing.

Now watch them whip the Sharks on Wednesday.

Too many fancy pass, and no one drive the net. PP is too predictable with Versteeg in the point and trying to shoot....Went blank against the Canucks, and again tonight. Need some more creativity here. Also, can someone give#23 a knock in hi head ?

That wasn't the worst game I've ever seen, but they were totally unfocused. Countless chances in the slot where they'd bobble the puck. They lacked a killer instinct tonight.

Can't win 'em all.

Wideman had nothing to do with how bad Brodie was tonight. I know the cool thing is to blame Wideman for everything but Brodie was a big pile of poo tonight.
