The cap tracking sites have it listed as a one-way, but when the Blues announced the signing, they had it listed as a two-way.
It really doesn't make sense that a player with his level of experience would have been able to earn a one-way deal.

I wonder if the Flames take a look at Morin. Strong connections with Gulutzan when he was with the Stars organization.
Puts up a lot of points in the AHL. Can't seem to transfer it to the the NHL.

I was thinking the same thing. If one guy on that list the flames may have intrest in it could be him.

He is the definition of a Tweener. Does not have the ability to play 3/4 line and not quite good enough to be a consistent top 6 player.

Travis Morin is 32 years old now. I think he's permanently found his home as a Texas Star in the AHL, with the odd call-up to Dallas

No I am not confused.
With players like Higgins and Vey still at Flames training camp, it is not far fetched to think that with the Gulutzan connection Travis Morin might be of interest.

Vey already has a 2-way contract though, but I'm willing to bet this is his last game before being waived.
Korpikoski is still here though for some god awful reason. Probably gets into the next game just out of respect.
