CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned seven players to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat: Ryan Culkin (D), Matt Frattin (RW), Jon Gillies (G), Mark Jankowski (C), Morgan Klimchuk (LW), Oliver Kylington (D), and Emile Poirier (RW). The Flames also announced that they have released defencemen Mikhail Grigorev and Colby Robak from their training camp.
Calgary has 32 players remaining at training camp (3x goalies, 11x defencemen, 18x forwards).
