Is there anything we can do to help you folks with this? Do you have GMs lined up? With CMPunk leaving, I thought I'd ask now. For example, we probably all know some members here at CP that may have interest. I haven't actively recruited though. Should I be?

Is there a new sim version or roster file update? I can't open the sim anymore. It says the league file is too old.

We only update the sim a couple times during the off-season. So don't worry about downloading a new file until we say so (usually after free agency)

Yes the file stops opening after X amount of days of being updated, so it will remain that way for the offseason
It sucks, in the season because I get use to looking up ratings with it... but with so many players flying around anyways it wouldn't be of much use anyways. After a couple trades it wouldn't have mattered

Are you then going to modify those ratings at all? Didn't you use a formula to put more emphasis on the this past season rather than a 3 year average? Is that going to happen again?

Last year IIRC they used a package that solely used last years stats, with a focus on advanced stats.

Last years package was used with a heavy focus on last year but did take into consideration the previous 2 seasons as well. It did incorporate advance stats into the formula. Ideally we use the same package or something very similar this season.

This is VERY relieving to hear. I know it can get me into a lot of trouble, but many of the pieces I added this year I added with this re-rate package in mind.

Sounds like the ratings package we will hopefully use will be released in a few days. So that'll be the next big step for the off-season.

So we are still waiting...last report early last week is that the ratings would be released "within days". But they haven't come out yet.
