LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms with forward Trevor Lewis on a four-year contract extension, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

The 29-year-old Lewis (born on Jan. 8, 1987) is a 6-1, 199-pound native of Salt Lake City, Utah who appeared in a career-high 75 regular-season games last season with the Kings. He registered 16 points (8-8=16) and 20 penalty minutes and was selected as the Kings Unsung Hero (voted by the players) for the fifth consecutive year. In five post-season games, Lewis registered two goals (2-0=2), tying for the team-lead.

The LA Kings must really like him for whatever reason. I don't know why because he's an imminently replaceable player as far as I'm concerned and doesn't fill any need on any NHL team that well. Actually, Lewis is pretty garbage IMO.

I think Bouma is a good bit better than this guy and I don't think Bouma's very good either.
