Mistakes didn't cost them this game. A failed sequence of basically 4-on-3, 5-on-4, 5-on-3, 5-on-4 cost them.
Other teams have a power play that can score when they spend half a period on a power play.

The power play is very frustrating this year.

Yes they did. It was a combination of the failed PPs and the huge mistake by Brodie and then the brutal play by Stajan.

Thought Ortio deserved a game star. Held them in it, made timely saves and gave them a chance to win.

Too much not good players on this team. This team has a guy that needs to be buried and at least 2 others that need to be bought out.

I saw a knock off Dustin Boyd jersey at the game. Weirdest thing ever, that's all I hav to say about that game.

Then again, a team with this many not good players at least doesn't hurt the tank.

Really hope the Flames can fix the special teams this off season. Other than atrocious goaltending, our pathetic PP and PK are a major reason why we're at the bottom of the standings. Imagine where we'd be if we had even semi-decent special teams.

I liked Ortio, I liked the Hamiltons and I liked Monahan tonight.
I hated the way most of the other guys played tonight, especially Stajan.

I'm starting to think that Freddie must have really looked our for Dougie when they were kids. Dougie plays with so much more snarl when Freddie is on the ice. If I'm the Flames brass I find a way to keep Freddie in the lineup all next season.

I was at the game tonight. Brodie didn't have his best game that's for sure. First goal was directly on him. I didn't think Freddie looked too out of place on the top line. He has some work to do for sure, but i didn't think he did too bad. And man our powerplay looked awful tonight. We keep it to the outside way too long, with not enough shots.
