Good news for the Pacific Division and western conference, the Devils scored early goals in the first and third periods to win 2-0. Schneider was the main reason for the victory for the Devils as he stopped all 38 Coyotes shots, the Devils fired only 16 shots.

It is scoreless in the Senators-Kings game.

The Flyers defeat the Rangers 3-2 in the shootout.

Sens making the kings' D look foolish. Tie it with two goals in 26 seconds.

Ottawa takes it 5-3. Will Wheaton probably looked up from his character sheet and wondered what happened.

Wow, Habs have won just 4 times in their last 18 games. If not for a hot start they would probably be one of the absolute worst teams in the league. Obviously we all knew Carey Price really carried that team based on the way they play, and it's clearly a bit of a drop to Condon, but that is really a terrible stretch of play from them. I wonder how long until a major shakeup happens with either the roster or the coaches/management.

OOF...and that's a bad start for the Habs on the road. Montreal loses coverage on a pretty simple play and Fabbri is left alone in front for a goal after Condon gets turned around. Blues up 1-0.

Therrien is challenging based on goaltender interference. I don't think it's gonna change.

I'm watching the Habs play with absolutely zero precision. Sloppy in every aspect of the game. It's almost like they've haven't practiced in weeks. Symptom of a struggling team, I know, but I'm astounded at just how bad it is. Is that on Therrien?

They are probably better than they are playing right now, but the Canadiens overachieved to such a ridiculous degree through the first six weeks of the season that it has badly skewed any perception of what this team is.

Why else do you think they picked up John Scott?

After one period
Good news, the BJs have a 1-0 lead on the Avalanche. Dubinsky with the goal 58 seconds into the game.

Beregeron scores 45 seconds into the game. Komarov ties it four minutes later.

The Sabres have a 2-0 lead over the Capitals, including a shorthanded goal.

That's a hell of a power play, Montreal.

It took 4 straight PPs for Montreal to finally score on one.

After two periods
Bergeron scores his second goal of the game 39 seconds into the second period. Matthias ties later on, 2-2.

Wagner ties it for Colorado, 1-1.

The surprise of the night has the Sabres pounding the Capitals 4-0. Kane with a goal.

Boston thought they scored. Offside though.

It's hilarious how much Boston has been complaining in this game about the Leafs getting away with penalties not called. Though to be fair they have a bit of a case in this one.

So did they get this right? The goal is wiped out by offsides but not the penalty?
