Default Team Cap Space for UFA Season

In anticipation of this (What I've heard is a) glorious event, I played with some numbers:

CPHL teams have a total of $370.18 Million in cap space to play with.
The top 6 teams make up 53% of that total.
The bottom 6 have 2% of it.
Not meant to mean anything really. Just felt like throwing some numbers together.
Maybe give teams a better idea where they stand in terms of the entire league.
I'm excited to see how this all unfolds.
  1. NYR - $37.54
  2. DET - $31.53
  3. OTT - $29.49
  4. EDM - $28.14
  5. NYI - $26.46
  6. SJ -- $25.37
  7. DAL - $20.64
  8. MON - $19.99
  9. CHI - $18.67
  10. MIN - $15.29
  11. COL - $14.09
  12. WAS - $11.08
  13. PIT - $11.05
  14. WIN - $9.68
  15. VAN - $9.29
  16. TB -- $8.89
  17. CAL - $8.39
  18. CBJ - $8.13
  19. NJ -- $6.40
  20. BUF - $6.02
  21. STL - $5.78
  22. ANA - $5.33

  24. LAK - $3.35
  25. FLO - $3.18
  26. CAR - $2.79

Always interesting to see, thanks for doing..

It would also be interesting to take into account how any roster spots the team needs to fill.

I contemplated doing that but felt it would be too subjective.

Let's take the richest cap team in the league, just for an example.
They only "need" 3 forwards and a G to have a full roster, but how many of their roster could/should/will they be replacing?

Too many variables.

I didn't want to jump on that and risk insulting people. For example, by saying one team still needs so and so, but they may think their roster is already fully set.

I'm not touching that one

Flyers:
No cap space but no holes in the lineup either.

Bring on the season.

Coyotes have around 5m in cap space. However the line up has no holes.

Coyotes would love to sign a UFA or two but will be cautious with their offers.
