Default February 26, nine games!

It is another busy Thursday OOT with many games having implications on the standings in both conferences.

Sportsnet West and Ontario nationally

This is part two of the oddly scheduled home-away series
between these teams. The obvious differences in this game
are that Patrick Kane is not in the lineup and Jagr is now a Panther.

Hoping St. Louis, Ottawa, Detroit, and Nashville do us a solid, but knowing the OOT, I bet they all either lose in regulation, or are winning with 2 min left, only to have the other team tie and win in overtime.

Forgot to include Buffalo? Even if it is Buffalo.
Quick 2-1 lead by the Canadiens with more than half of the 1st to go.

I just sacrificed a fuzzy peach to the hockey gods in order to encourage them to step in with some divine intervention tonight.

Entering tonight, Flames playoff odds: 68.9%

MIN reg. loss = +1.5 / MIN reg. win = -2.1
WPG reg. loss = +1.9 / WPG reg. win = -1.5
SJ reg. loss = +1.8 / SJ reg. win = -1.5
LA reg. loss = +1.4 / LA reg. win = -0.8
VAN reg. loss = +0.6 / VAN reg. win = -0.2

Potential swing of +7.2% to -6.1%

The crowd was loud when Teravainen scored, 1-0 Chicago.

The surprise on the OOT so far has the Coyotes ahead 3-1 over the Rangers after one period. Arcobello gets the dogs on the board 41 seconds into the game and Gagner with a pair of power play goals.

I'm a believer in "controlling thy own destiny", but those swings are pretty big!

A bit interesting that MIN affects us less than WPG? Not sure I understand that one (maybe the difficulty of MIN schedule down the stretch produces less variance?)

Might be a stupid question, but weren't we supposed to pay to use Rogers GameCentre? Why am I able to watch every single game in HD all of a sudden...?

That will count, but that was almost a great recovery from Clendening.

Chris Stewart now has 11 goals. Part of me wants the Flames to grab this guy and see what he can do before he hits UFA. Might be a low risk - high reward possibility.

Philly with 16 shots in the first period alone. How the Leafs will manage to fix that defense will be nothing short of a miracle.

And yet Toronto is up 2-0. Philly better channel that level of suck against us.

Jets dominating the Blues. St Louis itching to get their game turned around as they've been more poor than mediocre as of late.

Also realized tonight should be the first game with their new teams for Bergenheim and Tlusty.
