"Jumped the Couch"

Inspired by Tom Cruise's couch hopping exploits on the Oprah Winfrey show, and playing off the phrase " jumped the shark", the phrase "jumped the couch" has been coined to refer to "A defining moment when you know someone has gone off the deep end."

I think it's imperative that we add this phrase to the CalgaryPuck lexicon.

"You know I was with you, but then you totally jumped to the couch when you started comparing Steve Staois to Scott Stevens"
