I thought this was kind of interesting.

I'm probably fine to continue living here, but if I had to choose...maybe somewhere like Costa Rica or Panama. Warm, but relatively safe, stable and close. Australia/New Zealand just seems too far for me.

It would be Thailand or Spain for me. Cambodia would have been high on my list too, but it's getting a little sketchy there right now

Yeah probably a nice island country in the Caribbean would be ideal. Living in such a vastly different time zone from Canada is hard, take it from me. Sporting events are live at such inconvenient times. You can't just pick up the phone and call family or friends at any time, you actually have to plan these things.

After living in Australia for four years I can't wait to get home to Canada (could just be Sydney), New Zealand is awesome though.

The one that interested me was that France picked Canada. I suppose the only other major developed country where speaking French is a realistic choice.
