http://www.cbc.ca/m/news/topstories/...lief-1.2807312

Sad news out of Winnipeg. I hope they catch the person responsible for this horrible crime.

Creepy. And sick, obviously. Could be tough though, apparently the storage unit had been abandoned/delinquent for some time.

Sometimes, I think I should block all news from my life.........

I am working late tonight, but will ensure I kiss both my kids a couple of extra times when I get home.

"Even if it's found there was no foul play, there will likely still be charges."

No foul play? Pretty sure 4 babies didnt just go decide to play in a storage locker and forget to come home - of course this is foul play.

What a disgusting terrible situation. I couldnt imagine being the employee who discovered this mess. Ugh

I'm sure they still have the paperwork on which sick stupid **** rented the locker, I'm not sure this will require the deductive logic of Sherlock Holmes to solve.

Specifically to the case? Who knows. As a prejudicial and somewhat sexist assumption to cases in general? Yeah, you are.

You don't need a crystal ball to know that when a mother kills their child the criminal justice system responds very differently then when a father does it.

Could just be some sick freak that works at a crematorium or some such (in which case there would still be a bevy of criminal charges just not homicide). I'm betting not though and it's probably mom and/or dad.

Who is stupid enough to hide a body in a storage facility thou? Seriously, it's got to be one of the worst places to hide evidence of a crime... It's not under your supervision, it's frequented by other people, it requires an ongoing investment, it creates a paper trail, and possible under video survaillance.

Could you explain then why a seperate lesser charge that only a woman can charged with, infanticide, exists where as if a man kills his child he is treated like any other murderer.

It's actually common, the wonder is people do it and then after a decade or so stop paying the rent, I mean it's one thing to not bother about a set of snow tires you abandon!
