Sielof and Wotherspoon are better off playing top minutes in the AHL.

I would personally like to see Wotherspoon playing as a number 6 until he proves he can't, and after last year, I don't know if the latter would happen.

Wotherspoon and Potter are hurt. Sieloff needs ice-time.
Ergo, Diaz (who has earned it, IMO)

I voted Diaz. I like Diaz.
I am surprised that he is running away with this (albeit early) as a lot of posters did not seem to like him.

There's some things that get old fast...this will never. What a plug!!
Treliving bought himself an extra 1 year of rope from me for not resigning him.

I don't think we end up signing Diaz, and since Wotherspoon and Potter are both injured, only answer left for me is Sieloff.

Diaz gives the Wotherspoon's and Seiloff's a little breathing room this season. Not that Wotherspoon needs it, he is more than ready I think. I don't remember if it was Hartley or whoever that said it but I agreed and really liked when it was said "Some kids find their game in the NHL and not the AHL, and I think Tyler is one of those kids". I really do think Wotherpoon is a top 3 D man for the Flames in the very near future. But right now, Wotherspoon needs some time in Adirondak to get up to speed. Diaz is a suitable alternative until then.
Seiloff I think can be a serviceable bottom pairing D man right now in the NHL, but his room for growth after missing all of last season can be better with a season in the AHL.

Diaz by default. Wotherspoon and Sieloff need minutes. Potter is signed to a 2-way, and I expect him to be in Adirondack.
I think it is either Diaz, or someone who is made available on waivers in the next couple of days.
