It's those chinese lanterns you light a candle in and they let fly - when you can see then start to take off, the perspective makes way more sense.
Wow, I need to start taking drugs.
Hah nice, I've always wanted to do one of those, but they seem like a pretty big fire hazard.
But yeah, the problem with viewing things in the sky is there's no reference and our brain needs things to reference against, so it's really difficult to judge.

So not to long ago I might have drank a very crazy milkshake in Indonesia.... I situated myself on a beach on a far side of an island away from any people and lights, so enjoy said milkshake...
a couple hours later, after contemplating ancient life, the stars, the ocean, and freeing my mind into a less "technological state"...
To my left... a orange glowing disk appears from the water, and quickly shoots out across the ocean... I figure what I saw was real, and not a hallucination, but I couldn't wrap my mind around it, I could not explain it... There was nothing at all I could come up with to explain it... a few minutes later, one more... Well now I knew what I was seeing was real... I pretty much freaked out. Until a few minutes later, a third one... Now my brain finally wrapped around it... They where lanterns. I hope someone got to see this dude, alone on a beach, isolated, freaking out about glowing orange lights in the sky.

Just witnessed a orange circular object go from west to north in the sky.
Made no noise and war moving a a very decent rate of speed.
We have no idea what it was and of course got no pictures of it.
Any ideas?
The moon? Ya i saw it too. It's circular and sometimes orange and large on the horizon. Something about light to dust refraction. Nothing to worry about though.

My Wife, Son and I were watching a wedding release a bunch of these. About 10 of them ended up floating straight towards us and then back towards the hotel. I had to bat one of them away from the stroller as it got close. I am sure the hotel staff was happy that a bunch of flaming paper bags were heading towards the building.
