cuz it aint the pre-season any more and we have a starting QB.

Go Stamps!!!

Without a vet QB I think we take a small step backwards this year...10-8

10-8?? No way.

This team is stacked everywhere else besides QB, and they still have two quarterbacks who can get the job done. With our receivers: West, Price, McDaniel, Lewis, Fuller, Sinopoli etc. they should have no problem generating offense.

That BC preseason game was all kinds of ugly, don't expect that to happen again.

Their biggest challenges will be BC, HAM, TOR.

If we stay relatively healthy this year (last 2 years they have been decimated by injuries) then I see a 14-4 finish that should win the West.

I expect we'll see both quarterbacks start over the course of the season, whether it's due to injury or poor play. 12-6 is my prediction; hopefully they can peak at the right time.

“@vickihallch: Can confirm Jamel Richardson underwent an MRI in Calgary today, but he is not joining the team at this time.”

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but it's pretty awesome:

Coach Huff says Maurice Price has a broken hand. May have to be placed on 6-game injury list #calstampeders #CFL #YYC

Maybe not, but as we all know, the success team's have in the CFL season really comes down to how you play from the 2nd or 3rd week in September onwards.

I guess. Price started the season impressively and it would've been nice for that momentum to continue for him. He's a crucial part of this team, as witnessed yesterday.

That sucks. Why are our receivers always hurt? Rambo, Nik (last year), Price, West, Arthur, That first overall Canadian rec who was always hurt, Forzani etc etc...Fuller missed more than half a game yesterday too.

I guess next guy up.

Hoping it didn't happen by thumping his chest after he scored that TD

WTH!! Why the heck Price couldn't play a full season without an injury? Sucks especially with Joe West being out as well. I got a feeling Cunningham will be taking his place. He was actually not bad in the pre-season.

Kind of weird seeing Jamel Richardson wearing Stamps hat yesterday at the game. He looked ticked off at Higgins probably.

It really sucks that Price is hurt, he is a game breaker for the Stampeders. Hopefully he can heal up and be back in 4-5 games or so.

If the Richardson MRI results went well I hope the Stampeders take a long look at signing him to a contract.

Walter looked solid after Cornish left the game.

The upcoming bye week is probably good to have right now because of the Cornish situation, even though his injury may not be that severe, its good to have an the extra rest time to make sure he is 100 percent.

Great start to the year.

I am sure Kyries Hebert is not worried because he knows the league will change their mind after the CFLPA complained about it. It was definitely a dangerous tackle and I think it was the answer to Nik Lewis solid and legal hit the play before.

Now, with concerns about concussions it is a complete joke but a league that his no ability to punish its own players.

We just did a fabulous interview with Nik Lewis, among other things he does talk about the Hebert hit.

As soon as we have it up on the site I'll throw the link up here, but in my opinion its one of the most interesting player interviews that we've done.
