I kind of got lazy at the end of last year and stopped updating the other thread. I ended up winning some prop bets on the Super Bowl and came out roughly even for the year.

I'm only running $5 units this year because I'm in school and my income is not what it was last year. They may even drop to $2.50 units by the end of things.

Anyways, let's get this thing rolling again.

Am I missing something with this Baltimore/Denver game? I know the game is in Denver, but their defense is missing Miller and Bailey. No way the Ravens lose by more than a TD.

I hate betting on the Lions, but they've been a decent home team the last few years.

I like the Falcons and Eagles this week against two teams that are pretty poor defensively, and one team whose QB is playing on shaky knees and hasn't taken any preseason reps.

I'm going to be all over the Browns to start the season. They're a strong sleeper team in my books.

woot $5 unit

Balt ML
TB - 3.5
Hou - 3.5

Don't agree on the Browns, especially with Gordon out first 2 games of the season

0-3 to start the year but really just threw money on Balt because the odds were kinda juicy

I'm taking the over tonight, 48.5.
Both teams have defense missing.

Agreed. Went all in on Baltimore +7.5(-105) and the over (-115) parlayed.

$35 becomes $90

Yup, Payton Manning 7TD explosion!

I stayed away from this game. I was going to take Bal plus the points, but didn't feel good about it, so chickened out. Glad I did. The two buddies I watched with had Baltimore to cover, the other had them to win. It was a depressed room.

I like Cincy to win in Chicago, Detroit to cover at home, Atlanta to beat NO, NE to cover.

Point Spread:

NE (-9.5)
CIN (+2.5)
ATL (+2.5)
TB (-3.5)
IND (-10.5)
HOU (-4.5)

Taking 5 road teams seems risky but let's see where it goes.

Looks like the bookies had a good week! I decided to sit out week one because I think it's the hardest week to predict.

damnit these football games are crazy, I forgot to take the over (only 53) in a Chip Kelly Game.

I guess I'll take the over (44) in the late game.

That being said gonna parlay my first play this week

Jets +12
Chargers +9.5

KC -3
NO -3.5

1 unit pays 140 and change

I know it's the Jets but with Amandola and Vereen out now too...

A&M +8.5
MIA ML
DAL ML
PHI -9.5
WSH +9.5
NO -3.5
DEN -4.5
SEA -3

That 9.5 point spread for the Eagles seems high on first glance, but then I'm reminded of the fact that San Diego had to play the late, late Monday night game and now have to fly across the country to play the early Sunday game, with pretty much zero time to practice and prepare for Chip Kelly.

Another ugly week. Going 4-4. 7-9 might be my worst start in recent memory.
