Default Toyota Truck with Lemon Stickers & Giant Sign

Anybody know what's up with the Toyota Tacoma driving around with big lemon stickers and a big sign claiming Toyota warranties are worthless?

I've seen him on Deerfoot and at Ikea, it's causing traffic slowdowns/distractions as people slow to check out the train wreck.

More info here: http://forums.beyond.ca/st/382960/he...-toyota-lemon/

However, like every story, there are two sides and were not hearing the full story from either.

I lived around the corner from a guy that did this with his house. It was a Cedarglen home. He hung a huge banner, expressing his views, across the front of his house.

I saw that guy a few days ago on Elbow. Definitely lulz inducing. Another satisfied customer!

I love a dissatisfied customer like this who takes justice into their own hands.

It appears to be in Royal Oak. The time period is off as well, it would be earlier 2000's.

Good to know Cedarglen is/was knocking it out of the park.

It's good as long as the customer is in the correct position. In reality a lot of these types of situation end up being a belligerent ass-hat who doesn't like playing by the rules. Not saying this guy is in the wrong, but merely that I wouldn't take his review with a ton of weight.

Admittedly though, I laughed pretty hard.

while i have not seen the truck in question myself, i am deducing (from the picture), that the owner is not happy with either toyota or Henninger Toyota. I'd further assume that the owner feels the truck in question was poorly contructed - these types of vehicles are typically reffered to as lemons.

Can someone direct me to where I would pick up my prize for my analysis of the situation?

Lol. Reminds me of why I still cant bring myself to consider buying a Toyota. One of my first cars was a used Toyota Corolla. That thing was was awful...went through 2 transmissions, multiple clutches and it had electrical bugs like no other.

I will forever refer to that model as the Toyota Crapola.

Funny cause so many people have had the opposite experience with these crap boxes.

Just another example of how every manufacturer can produce a lemon I suppose.

My family has had multiple toyotas and hondas with no issues in either case. Our '92 corolla when I was a kid never put a foot wrong and was used by someone in the family up until 2010, when it was sold off still fully functional. My Lexus had a maintenance check last summer at its 5 year old mark for the first time in a while, and the verdict? Oil's a bit over-full and tires could use rotating. So I'm pretty staunchly behind Toyota quality.

They rust from the inside out, there should really be a recall on those trucks but the cost to replace the frames would be astronomical.
