Phoenix and St Louis Collide for Huge Blockbuster

As the team will be renaming to the Arizona Coyotes soon, we figured the look of the team should change as well. General Manager Sim was quite invisible during the last regular season, but fortunate for him was given a contract extension from ownership. This contract extension came with the condition that he return to the trading scene that he showed during his first two seasons in the CPHL. As such, GM Sim returned with a bang.

With a deep offensive team, and needing to shore up some depth, GM Sim collided with St Louis GM for a trade that can go down either way for both teams.

This is only the start in Phoenix. What the roster was was not working so changes were made. This deal shores up the D, adds a solid leadership winger in Ladd, and clears up any quesiton marks in net. Furthermore, for us it sheds some cap which we will need to sign a slew of RFA's with.

Nice to see sim reemerge with the only kind of deal I've come to expect from him. Blockbuster for sure that will take some time to sink in. Fairly even i think but I might give the edge to The blues here. That said, Pearson has been a player I have struggled to get behind since he was drafted.

Tough deal, but fun to knock it together.

The St. Louis Blues, after such as strong start to the season fell completely apart to end up among those in the basement, and one of the biggest reasons for this was lack of forward depth and with our last two deals we feel we have addressed that with our last two deals.
