Default Thunderbay man kills girl, and then himself

Tragic story. The mother of the girl is my best friend's real good friend. What a coward and son of a bitch.

This was all over him wanting to discipline her for opening a door without knocking. Effing coward punk. It's too bad he is dead and not being sodomized in jail every day for the rest of his life.

What a horrible story. I can't even imagine the rage I'd have if something like this happened to my daughter. That POS was probably better off killing himself.

And he beat her to death in front of her mom! I can't believe someone could be that cold. She had already lost an 8 month old in a car accident in her life. Just another tragedy. I can't see how she comes out of this sane. Poor girl.

Condolences to the family and I hope the mother can make it through this with her sanity. I imagine losing a child is the worst thing in the world and it is the only thing keeps me up at night having a child of my own.

If there is a hell, I hope the guy is there and suffers the worst kind of biblical torture for eternity. If there is a purgatory and he becomes a ghost, I hope other ghosts rape and torture his soul for eternity. If there is nothing after death, well F...

Torture fantasies are counter productive and reciprocate the negative energy in something as tragic as this

I should clarify that it's not the reason he killed her but that is how they started arguing and it led to their breakup which I guess he couldn't handle. They were only dating for about 3 months. hard to imagine how someone could hurt a child. Got more information today and it wasn't just the beating that killed her, he slit her throat. This infuriates me, what a coward.

So, intrigued by this story, I read up a bit on it and discovered this article...
http://www.tbnewswatch.com/news/3529...ttle-girl'

Now, I'm not trying to make light of the situation but a few things strike me based on what you've said and what I've read...

You say they were only dating 3 months and the article says they were living together. This tells me that the mother has extremely poor judgement. You also say she had previously lost a child in a car accident. So she's had three kids and yet moves men in and out of her life rather quickly... I don't care who you are; that's dangerous.

It also says the mother wasn't home; so where was she? Her ex has (according to you,) slit her daughter's throat while looking for her... why in the hell have you left your 8 year old and other son home alone? Is the son older or younger?

While the ex is the one ultimately responsible for this event, the mother needs to take a good, hard look at the choices she makes with hers and how they affect those around her.

I agree, but poor judgment is something men and women do everyday...like how I brought home a total stranger last Saturday. I think it is totally irrelevant to this case. Poor judgement shouldn't lead to your daughter's throat being slashed and that sounds like victim blaming to me.

I don't know her history well enough to comment on this, but I don't this is relevant either way. She lost her kid about 15 years ago so I really don't think it is fair to come to this assumption.

???

She was home and trying to get him to get out. He killed her while the mother was getting help from the neighbor. He beat her up good and she escaped to get help of course not thinking he would hurt her children.

This is typical victim blaming, and even though you say the ex is ultimately responsible your post says otherwise.

I don't think victim blaming is the appropriate response here.
