Default March 9 with five games.

The time change made the first game very early.

The NBC game (simulcast on TSN2 and on RDS2) was at 1030h featured another Original Six match up, Red Wings at Rangers. The Rangers won 3-0 and that was the second straight game the Rangers shutout the Red Wings.

huh you guys already made the time change? Awesome! We do so in 3 weeks ... "gaining" an hour is pretty awesome for European Flames fans

and to contribute to the thread: the Bruins' farmteam won 9-2 vs the Flyers farmteam tonight and Khokhlachev had 5 points. Makes me think back to the Iginla trade and "what could have been" ...

Buffalo got hosed by a call...a goal waved off, that should have counted, and they got a phantom penalty too...

1-1 after the first...

4-1 Kings. Here's the Oilers we all know and love.

Edit: Interesting to note that Gaborik has more ice-time then any other forward for the Kings tonight. Looks like Sutter might be a taking a liking to him, or maybe just testing things out to find the right line for him.

Joensu deserved it. Go watch it again and you'll see he sticked Nolan right in the twig + berries. I'd clock him as well.

I went back and couldn't find that. I hope you're right, if not that was a pretty ugly sucker punch. I'd imagine Gazdic will be looking for Nolan after that.

Toews goal early in the third period gives Chicago a 2-1 lead. There is only three minutes left in regulation.

Go back to where Nolan was talking to the ref and pushing Joensu down...you see him stand up, whack goes the stick, and 2 seconds later he drops Joensu. Pretty tough to see, but its the only thing I could see that would make him snap like that.
