Good write up Bingo!
It is getting tiring having to listen to the Oil Hype machine...the Flames proved last night we DO have some very good young talent, and there is a lot more yet to arrive!
Kind of pees me off though that the Oil will get a better draft slot than the Flames, but Im guessing we will still get the better player.

I never expected the Oilers to be worse this season. Firing their coach seems to have been a mistake and the new coach looks like he has no answers. Time for him to be fired as well. Anyways they probably won't listen to me, so I can continue to enjoy their incompetence.

Maybe the Smid trade was just to show they are doing something, something idiotic but that's par for the course.

One can only hope we win the lottery. That would be sweet justice

Amazing to see our "youth" line clobber their #1 picks. Checking out their pipeline, it looks relatively empty on forwards compared to the flames who seem to have a number of players who could fit in if there was space on the flames roster. I'm excited to see what our AHL players can do in the stretch run when spaces are available.

I think we need to recognize Stajan/Jones as a strong two-way combo. Rather unfortunate that they lost Bouma who fit in well for Cammi who didn't fit in as well.

Hard to listen to Healy spend most of the game saying that Oil just have to exert themselves and would dominate Flames. Clearly ignoring the fact that the flames have a deeper team as is evidenced by two lines being rotated when Oil were "trying" to win the game in regulation.
