LF: general contractor (garage, deck, etc)
I have a few potential home repair projects on the backlog and this spring summer I might take care of a couple:
Detached garage. It has some minor issues now which I believe could end up being large issues in the future. We're on a hill and the previous homeowners/builder of the garage built it so the bottom third of one wall is covered with dirt. Dirt against a regular wood siding wall isn't good. Not sure why they didn't put a retaining wall in. The pad is also cracked (due to the hill). As such not only would I need a garage but a new pad and concrete retaining walls.
Covered deck. Same as the garage, it's in bad shape and we need it replaced. Contemplating a 3 season or even 4 season deck possibly a bump out from the kitchen/dining room if zoning would allow.
I could use a new roof soon, anyone have one a new metal one they like?
Eaves could also be done soon.
After listing all this I figure we should just move. None of it needs to be done immediately, just figure I should start taking care of one or two of these this year and will need someone to take care of it all.
