Default Markets Dropping Fast Today

What's going on? Markets are dropping like apples. Dow is 221 down. S&P - 202 down. Something to do with the emerging markets currencies panic. Brutal! Anyone from the investment banking side, comments?

Central banks across the developing world waded into currency markets on Friday to try and stabilize currencies that were rapidly depreciating in an emerging markets selloff.

Something to do with Nintendo slashing Wii U sales forecasts from 8 million to less than 3 million consoles.

Perhaps it's the City of Calgary's notoriously restrictive planning policies?

you know we're in a bubble when a %1.5 drop is considered shocking and people start to panic.

I don't think its a bubble at all, but 1.5% isn't anything to get worried about.

I know natural gas has been up big time due to the cold weather in the US. The surplus of supply is being used up nicely and nat gas is up to 4.73

Invest, I have it on good authority that natural gas will peak around June...

There is so much natural gas being burned off around Minot, it is unbelievable.

I mind market corrections - to me it just means everything goes on sale. Did anyone else get some good deals today?
