Default Dean Del Mastro`s electoral fraud scheme

http://www.ottawacitizen.com/news/Ma...748/story.html

Cheques are produced showing the kickback that donors received for providing a donation to the Del Mastro campaign. This ensured that the money was properly cleaned before the Harper candidate used it during the federal election. This stuff is getting real shady, finally Canada has a real electoral scandal.

If true, and it looks like it is true, Harper needs to make an example out of him and kick him out of the party. Jail time would be good too.

As always, props to the employees for coming forward with the evidence. No comment on this other than it's sadly predictable.

It is a first in Canada to my knowledge, not sure how predictable that would make it.

Perhaps this is the first time this particular offense has been commited. Corrupt politicians, however, nothing new there sadly.

Donors are willing to speak to Elections Canada if given immunity from prosecution. Time to give immunity, let us see how far up the CPC these various and multiple electoral fraud allegations go.

The sad thing is that I'm not sure if this is the right elections Canada investigation thread to bump! I guess its either this or the robocall, but I can't follow along too easily. Either way, Dean Del Mastro is being charged by Elections Canada.

I guess now we know why Harper prorogued. 3 weeks from now when parliament sits, the media will have to move on the next news cycle (the throne speech) and Canadians will invariably have to move on to more important issues (hockey).
