That glass roof reminds of this.

That reminds me of those AFL Field house stadiums someone posted before. I may have to make a trip to watch the Vikings when that beauty is done.

LA? Hell no. Vikings are as much a part of Minnesota as churned butter and big breasted scandinavians.

Stadium deal still isn't finalized and with Ziggy Wilf being revealed to be a shyster and politicians being politicians, I can see the governor reneging for posturing purposes. Taxpayers shouldn't be paying for a cent of it anyways, especially not for a lowlife like Ziggy.

So LA is still possible. Might be unlikely, but the door is still open.

But they already have the money for the first year of bond payments from the cigarette tax. That stadium has to be built it is a thing of beauty

There is zero chance that Minnesota moves.

This stadium thing has gone on for years now, and they are literally at the finish line at this point. Whatever indiscretions they find in Wilf's background, will not be enough to derail the project and cost the state even more money in delays on construction.

Hmmm....

Quote:
The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority warned Friday that the new Minnesota Vikings stadium could be delayed after the Vikings broke off talks while the club owners' finances are investigated.

The due diligence investigation - launched last week after the Wilf family lost a major lawsuit - and the necessary use and development agreements between the team and authority need to be completed by Sept. 15 to hit a Nov. 7 start date, the MSFA said.

Vikings officials have put off discussions with the authority until the investigation is done. Postponing negotiations until Sept. 15 could cause other project delays.

"If we're not able to start work by the end of November, then we're really risking being able to complete the project by the start of the 2016 season," said the authority owner's representative, Scott Stenman of Hammes Co., picked to work on the project on behalf of the public.
