Castaway claims he drifted 13 months in Pacific.
Drifted in a small boat from Mexico to the Marshall Islands, claims his buddy died because he wouldn't eat raw birds.

Crazy if true.

Norm!
I bet it was 6 months
6 months of staring at the ocean in a leaky boat
Yeah, I'd say he spent 6 months in a leaky boat
Not 13 because that wouldn't have been as cool

I hear about stuff like this, and I wonder how long it would take to drive someone mad...nothing but yourself for company, and nothing to look at.

And would fapping get boring after a while, especially when the only thing that you have to look at are fish.

I'm guessing this is an elaborate
Appalachian Trail
Quote:
For six days in June 2009, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford's whereabouts were unknown and there was media coverage of what was described as his disappearance.
During the six days of absence, one of the excuses offered by Sanford's spokesperson was that Sanford was hiking the Appalachian Trail.
Subsequently the Governor reappeared and reported that he had been in Buenos Aires, Argentina with a woman with whom he was having an extramarital affair.

No chance he didn't eat his fellow driftee. I am not sure I'd blame him either.

Well, if you have access to fish and birds, I'd rather eat raw fish and birds than human flesh.
Reality though, I couldn't do either so I'd be long dead.

If you only look at the picture he looks in good shape, but if you watch the video you can see that he is a little shaky. Curious to see how it all pans out.

No you wouldn't. You'd eat whatever was there if you were starving to death. Which is why I don't believe he had a buddy with him. That's if his story is true. Looks relatively healthy for a guy that went through 13 months at sea.
Also I can just imagine you taking your last breaths and muttering "willll noot eat raaw fi...." pretty sure any human would be gobbling that #### up.
