A Trade!

Blues and Flyers hooked up for a trade last night that sent a favorite of mine to Philly for Andrew Ladd.

To Phi:

-Andrew Ladd
-$3 Mil

This is Ladd's 4th or 5th time through St. Louis since I've been GM so he should be quite familiar with the city and club.

Giving up Toffoli so soon after I got him was tough but at 27 and coming off a PPG season following two near 30 goal seasons, we believe he could be in for a very good re-rate and is only at the beginning of his best years.

I'm cleaning up in Philly.

Toffoli is someone I traded away last year but wanted him back. Karlsson is a really good prospect who put up big numbers in the SEL and the pick helps.
