Lecavalier agrees to sign with the Flyers (5yrs, $4.5 mil AAV) NMC
Tim Panaccio @tpanotchCSN 15s Source says 5 year $23.5 mill for Lecavalier as a Flyer. checking on that
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 1m Hearing the Flyers are Lecavalier's choice. Working on confirmation.
Really ticked off the Flyers were able to get away from the Bryzgalov deal and turn around and sign this one

How are they going make this work. They still need to extend Giroux.

Well, they gotta move something. Hopefully the Flames are in on the cap dump deals. Pretty sure they will be.

4.7M cap hit if true, not bad money wise but too long IMO.

How many centers do they need? Maybe they should think about spending some money on D.

$4.7 per year. Not horrible...a year or two too long but likely that factor was the premium for getting this done now, and clinched it for his camp.
I suspect that the Flyers have some deals to do before Friday to get their cap picture in order and compliance.

Hopefully we can pick up one of Coburn, Meszaros or Grossman on the cheap.
They are going to have to clean major house if this is true. Heck, they've already leaned major house, but have no compliance buy outs left now.
Never dull being a Flyer fan is it?

The Flames were rumored to be in trade talks for Read or Coburn or both at the draft.
Oilers have been in talks with the Flyers for Coburn at the draft

Trading Meszaros for picks maybe? Never a dull moment in Philly.

Tim Thomas?
Honestly, the Flyers ownership is a slick bunch. They'll have something up their sleeve.

Flyers have a lot of players they can send to the flames in a cap dump
Simmonds, Voracek, Schenn, Coburn, and the obvious Giroux
