I have no problem with the trade. Knight is probably a best case scenario for a 4th round pick. Plus he is years ahead of anyone we would draft this year.

edit: Not an overpayment as apparently they have agreed to a contract already..

I like this deal. A 4th rounder with very limited potential and likely 3-4 years away from cracking the line-up, if ever, for a guy who can push for a job in the upcoming season who seams to have some face-off skills, energy, and sandpaper, which the Flames are seriously lacking.

Giving up a fourth for an '09 5th round pick does seem like a bit of an overpayment. Feaster could be greasing the wheels to try to get that #2 pick.
